The Ladies Lunch Clubs is an award-winning networking group for female business owners or decision-makers, who enjoy meeting, supporting and proactively networking with like-minded businesswomen over an informal lunch.

The lunches were set up back in July 2005 by Lara Squires, director/owner of Consortium - More Than Marketing when she was working in house at a regional law firm. Lara saw an opportunity for a networking lunch specifically for women when she was working in Tunbridge Wells, and launched the first lunch with co-host Claire Burroughs of Ansacom.

The lunches proved to be a success, so she decided to launch a second lunch in Eastbourne during September 2005.

After moving to Worthing in late 2011 she wanted to build local contacts, so launched the Worthing lunch.

In 2013, Consortium – more than marketing was born and with it the Brighton and Hove lunch was launched. Due to the success of this lunch, it was recently split into a Hove lunch which takes place at the Ginger Pig, and a Brighton lunch that takes place at the Grand Hotel.

The lunches are bi-monthly and are attended by businesswomen from a wide range of business sectors. Occasionally the lunches also host special events, such as the Summer BBQ event at the Malmaison Hotel in Brighton on the 31st July 2019.

The future of the Ladies Lunch Clubs is looking great with a potential London lunch on the horizon.

Any woman in business can attend a lunch at the booking price but if they wish to attend more, they can sign up to the Ladies Lunch Clubs annual membership of £30 plus VAT. This also enables attendees and their business to be displayed on the Ladies Lunch Clubs website membership directory. The Ladies Lunch Clubs is a non-profit venture but the membership fee and our sponsors covers the administrative cost.
